In an effort to maintain a high quality Golf Course, we are going to do some renovation work in the coming weeks. The project will start this week and extend into the Fall and Winter seasons with minimal disruption of play.
Under the supervision of Grounds Superintendent Paul Gonzalez and Course Architect Tripp Davis, the primary focus of our renovation work is maintenance related to keep the infrastructure functioning the way it should. Focusing on Holes #2, #3 and #15, upgrades will include new liners in bunkers, fresh sod around bunkers, touching up sand in bunkers, and installing fresh soil/sod on and around the tees.
In addition, we will make a few design changes. We will create a new back tee for Hole #2 then move the cart path further from the green on Hole #3. We will also remove the first fairway bunker on the right side of Hole #2 and construct as much tee space as possible to spread wear better and offer more options to set up tees.
Temporary tees will be set when necessary and Hole #2 may be closed for brief periods, but our members will still be able to play and enjoy the Golf Course amidst the construction.
We are excited, and hope you are too, to see these improvements as we enhance an already fantastic Golf Course!
