Best of Luck to Adam K 8/27/21
Dear Whippoorwill Members,
Adam Kework, our longstanding Director of Tennis, has decided not to renew his contract for next year. Adam has been a valued member of the Whippoorwill family for 14 years, serving as our Director of Tennis/Head Professional. Adam is an exceptional tennis instructor, who has been fiercely devoted to developing the tennis skills of our members. His passion and energy are infectious; these attributes led to the tremendous growth of our tennis program during his tenure.
Adam informed me that he feels it is important for him to be closer to his family and spend more time with them at their permanent residence in Florida. While we will miss Adam, we completely understand and support his decision to leave Whippoorwill.
Adam will be at the Club until September 15th. If you have the chance, please stop by the Tennis Courts/Pro Shop to wish him well. On behalf of everyone at Whippoorwill, I would like to thank Adam for all he has done for the Club and wish him nothing but the best as he embarks on the next chapter in his life.
Prior to Adam informing the Club of his decision, we engaged with Len Simard from Kopplin Kuebler & Wallace to conduct a review of our tennis program. KKW will guide us through this transition and ensure our tennis program is set up to excel for many years to come.
Our Assistant Tennis Professional, Marc Farrell, will run the tennis program after Adam leaves and direct our paddle program in the winter season. Marc will certainly be a strong candidate to replace Adam on a permanent basis.
